Privacy Policy

We do not collect any data.

All data processing and storage occurs entirely on your device. DoOne does not transmit any personal information, usage data, or analytics to our servers or any third parties, other than the services you choose to connect (see Integrations below).

All app functionality is performed locally on your device. Your data never leaves your device unless via iCloud sync or an integration you connect (see below).

DoOne offers iCloud synchronization to keep your tasks synced across your devices. It is off by default. With iCloud Sync turned on:

• Your tasks, focus history and current focus task are sent to iCloud
• We do not have access to your iCloud data
• Your data is subject to Apple's iCloud Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

You can disable iCloud sync at any time inside the app under Settings. You can also do it in Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Saved to iCloud (See All) > Turn off DoOne. When disabled, your data remains only on your local device.

If you allow access to Reminders, DoOne reads your reminders on your device so you can add one as a task. For a reminder you add, DoOne adds a link back to the task in the reminder's notes and completes the reminder when you finish the task. Your reminders are never sent to us.

Brain Dump is an optional feature that is off by default. It needs a device that supports Apple Intelligence, with Apple Intelligence turned on. When you use it, DoOne listens through the microphone and turns what you say into tasks using Apple Intelligence. This happens on your device. Audio is not saved and is never sent to us.

Integrations are optional and off until you set one up. They connect DoOne to other services you choose. Today these include GitHub, GitLab, Forgejo, Gitea, Linear, Sentry and Todoist, and webhooks, which send to any address you enter, so they can reach any service or server. More integrations may be added over time. With an integration connected:

• DoOne talks to the service directly from your device, using the access token or address you give it. Nothing passes through us
• To link a task to something on that service, such as an issue or a Todoist task, DoOne loads your projects and items from it so you can pick one
• When you work on, finish or reopen a linked task, DoOne updates the linked item the way you set it up
• A webhook receives the events you switch on for it, with the task's title and list, plus any details you choose to include, such as its notes and focus sessions
• Your access tokens are kept in the keychain on your device, and in iCloud Keychain if you use it, so your connections are on your other devices too. iCloud Keychain is end-to-end encrypted, and we can never read your tokens

Every service you connect is a third party. What DoOne sends to it is subject to that service's own terms and privacy policy, so check them before you connect one. You can remove a connection at any time in the app under Settings > Integrations.

The lo-fi music and nature sounds are downloaded from Apple the first time you need them, as part of the app. No information about you or your tasks is sent with them.

DoOne does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

doone.app counts visits with Plausible, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that uses no cookies and collects no personal data. The app itself has no analytics.

Since all data is stored locally on your device, your data security depends on your device's security settings.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
